Location: Costa Rica

What you will do:

  • In coordination with the Director, HR Operations and Total Rewards, plan and develop a vision and roadmap for the HR Services and Support team in order to meet current and future business needs within the organization
  • Assist with the testing and implementation of our JIRA HR ticketing system  
  • Design and implement policies and procedures for HR Support and Services team members for responding to employee and manager inquiries regarding benefit programs, pay, policies, employee self-service tools and other applicable areas
  • Coordinate SLA creations for the team
  • Establish procedures to ensure all internal customers are assisted appropriately and in a
    timely manner
  • Build and maintain a strong functional team through effective recruiting, training,
    coaching, team building and succession planning
  • Ensure HR service center is adequately staffed and maintain performance standards
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team
  • Provide overall prioritization of work assignments and management of functional team
    resources and their activities
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Ensure continuity and successful delivery of functional services to our internal customers
    throughout the organization
  • Assess and identify a tool that can be used to survey and measure employee
    satisfaction with support provided by the team and create a process for survey
    launches and action planning based on feedback
  • Develop and maintain relationships cross functionally with employees and managers
  • Maintain awareness of vendor plans and the potential impact of those plans on current
    and future functionality
  • Work with team member to ensure internal Confluence system is maintained and
    updates on a regular basis
  • Work with team members to craft knowledge base articles that address frequently asked questions aimed at helping drive process clarity and employee and manager self-service
  • Other projects and initiatives as defined by future business needs

What you will bring with you:

  • 5+ years of prior experience in an HR Manager role in the Hi-Tech industry
  • Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP, Workday and/or HiBob
  • Prior experience supporting a remote employee population
  • High EQ and strong people skills
  • A self learner and a strong team player with ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to details
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Champion creativity and innovation to help provide the best experience for employees
