Your Opportunity:

We are looking for a Senior Manager/Director of ISV Ecosystem Development to help Sysdig extend our market leading position through technology partnerships.

This candidate should have hands-on experience building partnerships and developing ecosystems, ideally within the security and/or devops/devsecops markets. They need to bring a solid balance of business and technical acumen that enables them to research adjacencies, engage with potential partners, and make recommendations back to the business on the best path forward.

The person in this role will work closely with a number of other internal teams including product management, marketing, sales and many others. 

This is an opportunity to join a rapidly expanding team and company at the forefront of cloud security & monitoring and help us take the company to the next level. 

We expect post covid travel to range in the 15% to 20% range annually.

The Role:

  • Become an expert in Sysdig’s technology and the modern cloud security landscape
  • Research market adjacencies for potential technology partnerships and recommend the best path forward for the business
  • Engage with potential partner to discuss our potential joint value proposition and shared opportunity in the market
  • Work with the Sysdig open source team on strategies to drive the commercial adoption of Sysdig open source technologies, including the Falco Project
  • Stand up new partnerships is support of new product capabilities and sales plays
  • Incubate and scale partnerships with the companies deemed to be strategic to Sysdig
  • Respond to inbound partnership requests, an as needed, onboard partners into the Sysdig Technology Partner Program

Your Background

  • Experience in building partnerships and ecosystems within one or more of the following areas: Security, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes
  • Demonstrated track record of owning relationships and identifying new opportunities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative team player who strives to inspire loyalty
  • Excellent interpersonal/customer relations skills with particular regard to strategic relationships
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communicator
  • Proficiency in leading both executive meetings and technical workshops
  • Self-starter who thrives under ambiguity in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented startup environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
