    Responsibilities

    • Code & Create: Create cool examples, use cases, and demos by dreaming up new scenarios and integrating Sysdig with the container ecosystem.
    • Communicate & train: You’re a natural teacher. You don’t create just to show others what you can do, you want to show them how they can do it themselves. You do this through blogging, videos, speaking events, and trainings.
    • Product demonstrations: Designing, delivering and training the field on value-based demonstration, working in conjunction with Sales Engineering.
    • Product evangelism: Evangelizing and demonstrating Sysdig at conferences, trade shows, to analysts and customers.
    • Product stewardship: Provide the voice of the user back to the product team to make our products better.
    • Competitive intelligence: Research and maintain technical competitive intelligence in key usage areas and markets, including building technical evaluation labs.
    • Partnerships: Supporting partnership-related technical product marketing activities.
    • Industry events: Attending tradeshows and other events to represent Sysdig and showcase the technology.

    Requirements

    The most important requirement is that you have passion for sharing technology in a hands-on, example oriented way. You’re a natural communicator and you can show it through your previous work.

    • 2-4 years in DevOps, Development, or another role that gives you real-world experience with DevOps, automation, monitoring, and infrastructure management.
    • Basic coding/scripting skills. 1-2 languages, comfortable scripting leveraging APIs.
    • Passionate about groundbreaking technology, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology with flair and to different types of audience.
    • Experience and familiarity with IT management software products, networking, server, application monitoring and/or web technologies.

  • This position is located in San Francisco, CA.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work with our development teams, Product Managers, Support, Marketing and other groups to develop and deliver effective materials to support our products.
    • Write technical documentation, release notes, FAQs, user manuals, error/alert and messages.
    • Maintain a catalog of these material for a given product portfolio and ensure they are updated with each release.
    • Schedule and deliver training sessions at regular intervals across new releases of a product and seasonally to update product knowledge.
    • Write and produce technical material for internal audience, and customers.

    • Experience with React and/or Ember.js, jQuery, d3.js, SVG
    • Experience with web application testing (from Qunit to Mocha and PhantomJS)
    • 2-5 years work experience (Frontend Eng) / 5+ years experience (Senior Frontend Eng)
    • Experience with UI design patterns, security, performance and usability
    • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science or equivalent

As an SDR, you will play a hands-on role in building a company that will transform the container monitoring space.

    This is a high-volume, rapid sales cycle role where you’ll be responsible for the first set of customer engagements, which lead to pipeline and revenue opportunities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Work cooperatively in a team environment, you’ll source prospects, develop opportunities and sell Sysdig Cloud to new accounts through outbound call and email campaigns
    • Consistently achieve individual & team monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
    • Develop skills necessary for successful lead generation and demo completion
    • Educate customers on product functionality through conversations, demos, and presentations
    • Uncover business needs, technical requirements, and the buyer's purchasing process
    • Proactively promote sysdig and stay on top of Sysdig’s core functionality, product offerings, competitors and overall market knowledge
    • Document activities accurately in Salesforce.com
    • Possibility of travel to trade shows and key accounts to develop new business


    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Minimum 1+ years of inside sales or business development experience selling to technical buyers, including developers or IT operations is preferred
    • High technical competence desired, ideally in SaaS, cloud computing or enterprise IT
    • Highly motivated, competitive, and passionate team player
    • Proven track record of achieving monthly, quarterly and yearly pipeline & sales quotas
    • Excellent organizational, time-management and prioritization skills
    • Strong, effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • Startup experience and relevant industry experience both major pluses
    • Desire to be coached, trained and mentored toward a successful software sales career

You'll be deeply involved in the development of the novel technology behind sysdig, an open source system instrumentation tool we created and are using to revolutionize the performance management space. If you've tinkered with sysdig and liked what you saw, this is the job for you.
