What you will do
  • Reporting to the CFO, you will lead and manage the general ledger process, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the external audits to ensure successful completion of financial audits, managing the audit timeline and resolving any audit issues or inquiries.
  • Oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with ASC 606 and other applicable standards for software sales, including subscription and support .
  • Oversee all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accurate calculation and disbursement of employee wages and related benefits in compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
  • Manage day-to-day treasury activities to ensure the company maintains optimal cash flow.
  • Oversee relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective management of banking facilities, and short-term investments.
  • Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment where team members are empowered to contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, ensuring that the accounting team is up to date on the latest accounting regulations, industry best practices, and technology solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve data accuracy, and increase reporting speed while maintaining compliance and control.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and other cross-functions teams on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning to ensure alignment with company objectives.
What you will bring with you
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, including experience in leadership roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; a CPA is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in SaaS or similar technology-based industries strongly preferred.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, payroll systems, treasury management, and audit processes.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, ZIP, SFDC, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management, auditors, and external stakeholders.

The U.S. annual on target earnings (OTE) range for this full-time position is between $171,000 and 265,000 USD/year. This range represents a combination of annual base pay and targeted commission. Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range based on a variety of factors, including your work location, job-related experience and education.
