Suresh Vasudevan
CEO
Suresh Vasudevan serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Sysdig, Inc. since February 2018. Prior to joining Sysdig, Suresh was the president and CEO of Nimble Storage, Inc. His tenure extended from March 2011 until its acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in May 2017. During his time at the company, he led Nimble from a startup, through a successful IPO, and on to be a leading provider of next-generation flash storage systems and a pioneer in leveraging predictive analytics for infrastructure management, with more than $500 million in annualized revenues and over 10,000 customers. Prior to Nimble Storage, he was the CEO of Omneon (acquired by Harmonic Inc.), and previously served as a member of the executive team at NetApp, overseeing all product operations. During a decade-long career at NetApp, Suresh led the company’s product strategy and product development and was a key architect of the steady expansion of NetApp’s product portfolio into new markets. Before joining NetApp, Suresh served at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chicago as a senior engagement manager. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta, India.
Loris Degioanni
CTO & Founder
Loris Degioanni is the CTO and founder of Sysdig, the secure DevOps leader. He is also the creator of the popular open source troubleshooting tool, sysdig, and the open source container security tool Falco. Prior to founding Sysdig, Loris co-created Wireshark, the open source network analyzer, which today has 20+ million users. Loris holds a PhD in computer engineering from Politecnico di Torino and lives in Davis, California.
Keegan Riley
Chief Revenue Officer
Keegan Riley leads all sales, presales, channel, and customer success functions. Prior to joining Sysdig, Keegan was VP of North American Data Storage Sales for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he lead a $1.5B annual business. Previous roles include VP of Americas Sales at Nimble Storage, and sales leadership roles at HP and EMC Corporation. Keegan holds an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. He lives in the Chicago area with his wife and two daughters.
Janet Matsuda
Chief Marketing Officer
Janet leads marketing at Sysdig. She is a computer scientist turned marketer with a proven track record of helping to build category leading companies and driving revenue growth. Prior to joining Sysdig, Janet served in leadership roles at Palo Alto Networks, Nimble Storage, Blue Coat Systems and AMD. Janet repositioned Palo Alto Networks for the cloud security opportunity. At Nimble Storage she designed the predictive flash category, driving the next wave of growth and sale eighteen months later to HPE for $1 Billion. Under Janet’s leadership, the Blue Coat marketing team repositioned the company, revitalized the brand and built a demand creation engine, contributing to a company valuation that nearly doubled in three years. Janet holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Larry Castro
Chief Financial Officer
Larry Castro is the Chief Financial Officer at Sysdig. Previously, he has spent the last three and a half years as the chief financial officer (CFO) at Telltale Games, an American video game developer and publishing company. Prior to joining Telltale Games, he was CFO of Jut, a streaming analytics data stack company. Castro spent time as the senior VP of finance at Riverbed Technology and prior to Riverbed, he was at Electronic Arts (EA) for more than 14 years. At EA, Castro wore many hats, including chief operating officer (COO) and CFO of the Redwood Shores Studio. He holds a B.S. in International Commerce and Finance from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
Paris Georgallis
VP Global Sales Engineering & Chief Customer Success Leader
Paris is the Vice President of Global Sales Engineering & Customer Success at Sysdig.
His passion is helping customers operating in cloud-native environments to maximize their investments and ROI by utilizing Sysdig to secure and manage their containers and microservices at scale, all while solving their most complex operational challenges.
Paris’ expertise lies in developing business solutions and operationalizing global data centers from the ground up.
Paris has a proven track record across multiple technologies and industries at organizations of all sizes — from early-stage companies to the Fortune 500. Prior to joining Sysdig, Paris served in leadership roles at Databricks, AppDynamics, RMS, EMC, GTS/Ebony, Qwest (now Centurylink) and CitiCorp.
At RMS, Paris delivered on the company’s hybrid cloud strategy on time and on budget, while scaling the teams in preparation for the launch of a significant SaaS product. At AppDynamics, Paris was instrumental in operationalizing professional services into a profitable team before successfully transforming the customer success organization into a distinct and separate organization. At Databricks, Paris scaled the services and education teams while doubling revenue and maintaining a high-quality delivery motion with high CSAT and NPS scores.
Paris holds a B.A. in both information studies and geography from Syracuse University.
Omer Azaria
VP of Engineering, Secure
Omer Azaria has served as a Vice President of Engineering at Sysdig, Inc. since March 2020. Omer joined Sysdig in 2018 as Director of Engineering, where he built the recently launched Sysdig Secure technology from the ground up and scaled a global team. Omer’s direction helped position Sysdig Secure as the market-leading Kubernetes security tool.
Prior to joining Sysdig, Omer was the VP Engineering at Imperva, a cybersecurity software and services company that provides protection to enterprise data and application software. While scaling the field R&D team, he worked closely with engineering, sales, and product teams on key deals and marquee accounts. Later, Omer bootstrapped a new cloud data security product, processing petabytes a day using state-of-the-art cloud-native technology to disrupt the market.
Omer is passionate about growing high performing teams and building successful products. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Originally from Israel, Omer moved to the United States in 2014 with his wife.
Saro Subbiah
VP of Engineering and Technology, Monitor & Platform
Saro Subbiah is the Vice President of Engineering and Technology for Monitor & Platform at Sysdig. Saro leads all development, testing, delivery, and operations for the Sysdig Secure DevOps Platform and Sysdig Monitor product lines. Prior to joining Sysdig, Saro was the Chief Technology Officer at Quid, an AI-powered SaaS data analytics company, until its acquisition in 2020. At Quid, Saro led the engineering, product, data science, and design teams.
Prior to Quid, Saro led the engineering team at Terracotta, a leader at that time in optimizing the performance of large-scale distributed applications. Saro was with Terracotta from an early stage through its acquisition by Software AG in 2011. He then joined Software AG as the Head of Engineering, focused on big data. Saro previously held engineering roles at Fujitsu Network Communications Inc. and Wipro Technologies. He holds a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
Colleen Lam
Head of Legal
Colleen is responsible for Sysdig’s legal affairs, including licensing, intellectual property, compliance, privacy, and corporate governance. With more than 15 years of senior in-house counsel experience, she has spent the majority of her career advising tech companies of all sizes, most especially in the enterprise software and SaaS space. Colleen has deep experience in tech transactions focused on global commercial sales, business development, and strategic licensing, including open source and product support, with a special emphasis on scaling processes and legal teams to address deal velocity and rapid revenue growth.
Before joining Sysdig, Colleen held senior legal positions at Magento Commerce (acquired by Adobe), Nimble Storage (IPO and subsequently acquired by Hewlett Packard Enterprise), and VMware (IPO). She successfully helped lead the mergers of both Nimble Storage and Magento Commerce and worked with both acquiring companies to advise and integrate the legal processes post-acquisition.
Colleen holds a B.A. in Political Science from Whitman College and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in the State of California.
Shanta Kohli
VP of Marketing, Demand Generation
Shanta is responsible for worldwide demand generation at Sysdig. She has more than 20 years of experience across all marketing functions including integrated marketing, operations, global/field demand, customer success, and product marketing. Shanta is recognized as a GTM & demand generation strategist with a proven record to build scalable, high performing global programs focused on net new logo acquisition and customer expansion.
Before joining Sysdig, Shanta held senior marketing roles at enterprise security and software companies including Palo Alto Networks, Nimble Storage (acquired by HPE), and Blue Coat Systems (acquired by Symantec).
Shanta holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo.
Knox Anderson
VP of Product Management
Knox is responsible for product management at Sysdig. He has held product marketing, sales and product management roles throughout his career, including five years at Sysdig. As one of the first Sysdig employees, Knox has helped to lead Sysdig from the ground up, with a proven record of building, launching and growing security, health and compliance applications built on top of containers and kubernetes.
Knox has been behind several groundbreaking initiatives at Sysdig, including helping to launch and grow Sysdig Secure and developing the customer success program. Through his leadership, Knox has led many of Sysdig’s key partner programs, including AWS, IBM and Red Hat.
Before joining Sysdig, Knox held senior program manager roles at NuoDB, a distributed SQL database company, where he focused on creating technical content and demand generation to drive net new logos for the company.
Knox holds a BSBA in Management Information Systems and Services from Boston University Questrom School of Business.
