What you will do
- You will report to Chief Administrative Officer
- Partner with the global People team to provide strategic advice on multiple employment issues including hiring, employee relations, data privacy, cross-border mobility, HR best practices, compliance, and people policies and programs.
- Advise outcomes for employee relations matters, including performance management, terminations, investigations, leaves and accommodations, and manage employment-related disputes and litigation.
- Operationalize compliance-based requirements and build scalable policies, guides, templates and training
- Draft and revise global employment and benefits documentation and agreements
- Highlight and bring practical solutions to existing and evolving employment law requirements and potential legal risks to the business
- Collaborate with other cross functional teams including legal, information security, stock administration, payroll, and accounting.
- Assist in managing external employment counsel relationships
What you will bring with you
- Licensed to practice law in your home jurisdiction.
- 6–8 years of combined employment law experience (law firm and in-house).
- Working knowledge of local employment and benefits laws in the following jurisdictions: Italy, Spain, Serbia, UK, Germany, and France.
- Familiarity with employment or benefits laws in any or all of the following jurisdictions: Canada, Ireland, Japan, India, Australia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Costa Rica, Singapore, Sweden, and Denmark
- Experience or interest in privacy and compliance
- Fluency in English is required
