Sysdig Secure selected as most advanced cloud technology.
SAN FRANCISCO – February 4, 2019 – Sysdig, Inc., the cloud-native intelligence company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Sysdig to its 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Companies of 2019 list in the security category. This annual list recognizes the most advanced cloud technology suppliers in five categories: infrastructure, platforms and development, security, storage and software.
Sysdig is the only platform to take a data-focused and unified approach to container security and visibility. Unlike traditional approaches, the Sysdig Cloud-Native Intelligence Platform was built on an open core and with a understanding of the modern DevSecOps workflow across Kubernetes, Docker, and both private and public clouds. Sysdig first launched with Sysdig Monitor and then followed with Sysdig Secure in October of 2017, which cemented Sysdig as the only platform to deliver unified cloud-native security, monitoring, and forensics. By offering a unified approach, Sysdig is able to deliver more data for higher visibility and a more complete view of the environment, while putting less of a strain on the infrastructure.
Sysdig Secure, which is used by many of the world’s largest media, cable, and technology companies, financial institutions, and government agencies, is a runtime security for containers and microservices. With vulnerability management capabilities, Sysdig Secure enables organizations to bring application security and compliance closer to the developer. It ensures that as companies scale, security scales at the same rate, allowing DevOps to deploy knowing all images and containers are vulnerability free, in compliance, and can defend their applications from compromise. In the event vulnerabilities are found, Sysdig Secure can take action, and all pre and post-attack events are recorded for quicker post-mortem analysis and better informed decision making.
“Over the last 12 months, Sysdig has experienced rapid growth as we drive container and microservices adoption and expand into new geographies,” said Suresh Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer, Sysdig. “This recognition by CRN speaks to the strength of our technology and the ecosystem we have built. We expect enterprise adoption to continue to scale this year as leaders realize the sheer amount of data we leverage and enrich, and the challenges we simplify and solve.”
In addition to recognizing cloud technology suppliers for outstanding products and services, the 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Companies list is the ultimate guide for solution providers to find key players driving all facets of cloud technology. The security list aids in identifying the companies that can best help them secure, improve, and expand their cloud services.
“Cloud services are a vital part of the IT channel and have solution providers clamoring for companies who will help them grow and evolve their cloud business,” said Bob Skelley, CEO, The Channel Company. “CRN’s annual list of 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Companies supports channel partners by identifying top companies who can deliver a wide-range of innovative cloud-based technologies and services. We congratulate all the companies on our 2019 list for establishing themselves as leaders in this crucial technology area.”
The 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Companies are selected by the CRN editorial team for their creativity and innovation in product development, the quality of their services and partner programs, and their demonstrated ability to help customers benefit from the ease of use, flexibility, scalability, and budgetary savings that cloud computing offers. The new 100 Coolest Cloud Computing Companies list will be featured in the February 2019 issue of CRN and online at www.crn.com/cloud100.”
